March product update: sync, voice, and images make capture richer

This month focused on the ISEA client: cloud sync, voice input, image picking, analytics pages, membership screens, and a more reliable update foundation.

In March, ISEA continued growing from a local capture tool into a fuller everyday product. The client focus was sync, voice, images, analytics, and membership: records should not only be easy to save, but also easier to carry, enrich, and review.

We also upgraded runtime and update foundations. Those changes are not always visible, but they make future improvements easier to ship reliably.

Cloud sync starts taking shape

Cloud sync entered the client settings and server data path in March. The goal is to keep ISEA local-first while giving users a way to preserve and restore records across devices.

Sync is not just uploading everything. This month we tightened shared record contracts, payload validation, updated-at handling, and regression coverage so AI edits, local changes, and cloud writes are less likely to step on one another.

For users, the direction is simple: records should be reliable on the device first, then able to follow the account when needed.

Voice and images in Agent capture

Agent chat gained hold-to-speak voice input. You can capture in a more natural way, release to send the final transcript, and read the result in a layout that handles long text more gracefully.

Image selection also arrived in the Agent input. The chat composer moved from a single image icon to a more flexible plus button, with a picker sheet, local previews, and upload support when needed.

That makes ISEA better suited to real life materials: a sentence, a receipt photo, or a quick description can all become the start of a record.

Analytics pages and goals

March added analytics views and goal tracking across several record modules. Water can have a daily goal, accounts can track targets, and mood, journal, habit, countdown, and ticket records gained cards that make review easier.

These pages are not meant to become heavy reporting dashboards. They answer practical questions: Was I consistent? Did spending change? Is there a mood or writing trend? Did a habit keep going?

Mood also gained horizontal daily browsing and sticker count badges, while journal editing gained date picking for easier backfilling.

App updates, membership, and profile

The client moved onto a self-hosted hot update flow. That gives us a path to deliver some fixes and improvements faster, while startup and database readiness were cleaned up to reduce uncertainty when opening the app.

Membership and billing screens also landed near the end of the month. They prepare the product for clearer entitlements, usage, and message attribution, while giving users a concrete place to understand membership status.

Profiles became more personal too, with avatar updates, preview sync, and more native-feeling profile inputs.

A steadier client foundation

March also included an Expo and React Native upgrade, local font handling, date picker refinements, native inputs, route cleanup, and network configuration work. Together, these reduce platform differences and runtime risk.

Login, startup, settings, deleted-record review, and configuration loading also received smaller fixes. ISEA is moving from usable features toward a product people can keep using over time.

Next, we will turn these foundations into more direct daily improvements: less waiting, more natural input, and sync users can trust.
